“The Crash” is a psychological thriller novel by Freida McFeden that delays complications of memory, identity and faith. The story revolves around a woman, who rises in a hospital bed with a disastrous car accident after a disastrous car accident. As she struggles with her forgetting illness, she is introduced to a person who claims to be her husband, who is eager to help her to take her home and cure her. 

Returning to solitude home in the forest, the hero regains that there is some amies. Despite the assurance of the man of their happy marriage, he is haunted by the feelings and fragmented memories suggesting a different reality. As she tries to do her past together, she rapidly suspects the man who insists that she is her loving husband. 

The main theme of the novel is the center on the delicateness of memory and the search for self-cushion. This shows how memory shapes our identity and its loss can have a deep impact on its own feeling. Additionally, the story examines the subjects of confidence and deception, stating how individuals can be manipulated when they are uncertain from their reality. 

As the story comes out, the hero harasses the truth about his past and the people around it, causing an entertaining and suspense climax. McFaden put the readers on the edge, questioning the reliability of each character and the nature of the hero’s reality.
